We have a new foster placement. Her birthmother wants to give her up for adoption, and actually picked us (unheard of in foster system). Her birthfather has 7-8 months to get it together. Her birthmother doesn't believe he can do it. We'll see how it turns out.
In the meantime, we get to enjoy this sweet girl. She is very good - natured. She's blonde hair, blue-eyed, and nearly 20 pounds. She's 5 months old. We're enjoying her and her smiles.
Littel One's doing really well. He loves having a little sister, and being the big brother. He's so good to her.

Welcome Little One

A new family member

On June 7, 2007 Little One came to live with us. He's a foster child and is 6 years old. He'll be starting First Grade this fall.

He's such a cutie. He loves to tease. He likes hiding around corners to jump out and scare you. He loves his new bike, playing Lego Star Wars, and reading with me.

We've been doing quite a bit of playing this summer. From family reunion to family reunion and inbetween. We've been swimming, hiking, biking . . . to Lagoon and Seven Peaks. We've had water fights, run through the sprinklers, and built Lincoln Log cabins. We've read stories, gone on bear hunts, and played ball.
